Trivia: ‘Chris Tucker’ did not reprise his role of Smokey from the original film because he’d become a born again Christian after filming Money Talks (1997) and chose to do the Rush Hour series instead. He is referenced to throughout the film and explains the absence of the Smokey character.
Goofs: Continuity: When Day-Day and Craig first go into the house and Day-Day asks his father (Uncle Elroy) about his pink work shirt their exchange indicates that he used it as a substitute for toilet paper (which he ran out of). Later on when Day-Day is at work, he is wearing the pink shirt without any indication that it had been laundered.
